The Mandala MkII
The Mandala builds on the Second Hour design language and our love for complex, complimentary geometry. This incredible watch realises a marriage between the psychedelic and sacred and the refined mechanics of the modern industrial age.
The Mandala encapsulates Second Hour’s approach to design, seeking to harmonise the mystical and the mechanical through the use of modern materials and methods, resolving tensions between these opposing forces.
The watch speaks of a sporty, yet dressy elegance and has incredible versatility.
Stunning dial complexity, the custom decorated rotor and wonderful touches of detail will appeal to those who crave unique design flare and want a watch that can comfortably transition from the boardroom to the cocktail bar.
The dial colours range from the serious sport watch aesthetic (black and grey dials) through to the fun, casual elegance of the Pale Blue and Salmon dials and the more traditional bright blue. There’s a Mandala for most moods and style preferences.
The crown will no longer contain lume but the scratch resistant coating applied to the 316L steel - case, bracelet and clasp - will be ongoing. This raises the hardness value to 800HV on the Vickers scale.
